All matters of the town council and its committees are dealt with in the Central Office. HR, the IT and press and public relations departments, the archives and the reception are all part of the Central Office.

The finances of Lohr Town Council are managed in the town treasury. This is also where grants, subsidies and the calcula­tion of charges are dealt with. The forest administration is attached to the financial administration.

The urban development and environment department of the building authority will provide citizens with information on renovation in the Old Town, among other things.

The Technical Department of the Building Authority takes care of structural and civil engineering issues and buildings management. The municipal building yard is also affiliated to the building authority.

Cultural affairs, the Adult Education Centre, the Music School, the library, Tourist Information and the Civic Hall fall under the Cultural Office, also responsible for the "Spessart Summer" and "Spessart Winter" cultural programmes.

Short distances, fast processing: services on the ground floor of the New Town Hall include the Registry Office, the Residents’ Registration Office, the Traffic Law, Pensions and Social Departments and the Office for Family, Youth and Sport.

Business development issues, legal matters, and the management of the municipal fire brigade are dealt with in this department. You will also find the contact person for issues to do with asylum and refugees here.

The town’s public utilities company takes care of the drinking water supply, sewage disposal, public transport, and parking facilities.
