The rollout of broadband began in the central area of the town as early as 2011.
The last few gaps in access to the network are in the process of being bridged at the moment. A download speed of up to 100 Mbit/s is available across all areas of the town.
In industrial and built-up areas, the Free Federal State of Bavaria is currently subsidising the gradual expansion of high-performance broadband networks with transmission speeds of at least 50 Mbit/s for downloading and at least 2 Mbit/s for uploading.
